This is Vandre's 100% Italian wool baseball hat, handmade here in the USA, one by one, by our partner hatmaker in Pennsylvania. Every part is constructed by hand from the iconic wool flannel pinstripe of Vitale Barberis Canonico, one of the most storied mills in fine suiting. It is a one-of-a-kind hat: soft, unconstructed, and comfortable right out of the box.

100% Italian wool from Vitale Barberis Canonico

The fabric is the whole point. This hat is made from the iconic wool flannel pinstripe of Vitale Barberis Canonico, the world-famous Italian mill whose cloth is used by some of the finest tailors anywhere. In a navy pinstripe, it brings the language of fine suiting to a baseball hat. The wool is naturally breathable, wrinkle and odor resistant, and soft to the touch, and it only improves with wear.

Every one of these hats is constructed by hand, one at a time, by our partner hatmaker in Pennsylvania. That handwork is what makes it truly one of a kind, and it is a rare thing to find in a baseball hat.

The shape and fit

This is an unconstructed hat, which means it is soft and flexible and drapes naturally to the shape of your head. It is comfortable right out of the box, with no real break-in needed. It comes in a deeper profile, which makes it better for average head sizes and above. The brim arrives flat and naturally lays that way, and it is easy to bend to whatever curve you prefer.

The signature interior

Inside, the hat is fully lined in our signature Maui blue, a moisture-wicking 100% polyester lining that keeps the finish clean and comfortable.

Made for cooler weather

A wool hat for the fall and winter, refined enough to wear anywhere and comfortable enough to keep on indoors.

What's included

Your hat arrives with a custom Vandre satin drawstring storage bag, perfect for keeping it clean between wears, or for whatever else you choose to store in it.

Care

Spot clean as needed with cool water and a mild detergent, then reshape and air dry. The wool can handle getting wet, though prolonged exposure to rain or snow is not ideal. If you get caught in a storm, simply hang the hat to dry and never wring it out. Avoid hot water, the washing machine, and the dryer.
