This is Vandre's 100% cashmere beanie in White, knit from Grade A Mongolian cashmere, the softest fiber I work with, in a thick, substantial ribbed knit. Cashmere is warm and breathable, so it is comfortable to keep on indoors and out, and it is the beanie you reach for whenever the weather turns cold. Quietly refined, and finished with the same minimalist branding as the rest of the line.

The fabric is the whole point. This beanie is knit from Grade A Mongolian cashmere, one of the softest fibers in the world, in a thick, wide ribbed knit that feels substantial and luxurious in the hand. Cashmere is warm and naturally breathable, so it keeps you warm without ever feeling stuffy, comfortable to wear indoors and out. It is the softest thing I make, and the difference is something you feel the moment you put it on.

Cashmere is what you reach for when the weather turns cold. It brings real warmth without feeling heavy, and because cashmere breathes, it never feels stuffy, so you can keep it on from the walk outside to the moment you sit down in. Quietly refined, and finished with the same minimalist branding as every Vandre piece.

A note on the cashmere

Our cashmere is pre-pilled during production, which helps extend the life of your beanie. Even so, a little natural pilling can still occur with wear, as it does with all fine cashmere. It is a normal characteristic of the fiber, not a flaw.

Fit and sizing

One size fits most. The ribbed knit gives a refined, flexible fit that stretches comfortably and returns to shape without loosening.

Care

Cashmere is best cared for by dry cleaning, which keeps it soft and in shape. Store it folded in its bag rather than hung, and avoid the washing machine and dryer.
