This is Vandre's 100% Irish linen baseball hat in Navy Blue, a light, breathable cap built for warm weather. The linen is woven by Baird McNutt, a mill in Northern Ireland with more than 220 years of experience, then finished with the details of fine tailoring. It's refined enough for everyday, and made to elevate whatever you put on.

100% Irish linen from a 220-year-old mill

The fabric is the whole point. I use 100% Irish linen woven by Baird McNutt in Northern Ireland, a mill with more than 220 years of expertise and one of the most respected names in linen. Linen is one of the most breathable fabrics there is, which is what makes this hat feel genuinely cool on a warm day, and it softens beautifully the more you wear it. The mill is ISO 14001 certified and runs on renewable electricity, so the linen is milled responsibly too.

Designed with intention

Every detail is a decision. The semi-structured two front panels hold a clean, refined shape without feeling stiff. It is finished with a 100% leather adjustable strap, a metal press closure and grommet, and a pass-through that tucks the excess strap back inside for a streamlined profile. On the back, a single small embroidered V, the only branding on the hat. A Baird McNutt fabric label is sewn into the sweatband, the way a mill label sits inside a high-end suit.

The signature interior

Inside, the hat is fully lined in our signature Maui blue, a moisture-wicking 100% polyester lining that keeps the finish clean and comfortable.

The break-in period

Linen starts a touch crisp and softens the more you wear it. Over the first several wears it relaxes and molds to your head, and the fit and feel only improve with time. Give the brim your preferred curve early on and wear it as you normally would, and it settles in quickly.

Mid-profile construction with our perfected fit, ideal for average and larger head sizes. One size fits most, with the 100% leather adjustable strap dialing in a secure, custom fit.

Your hat arrives with a custom Vandre satin storage bag, perfect for keeping it clean between wears, or for whatever else you choose to store in it.

Care

Spot clean as needed with cool water and a mild detergent, then reshape and air dry. A light misting of water relaxes any natural creasing. Never machine wash, use hot water, or wring the fabric.
